Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy applies to the client download pages, configuration docs, and news pages on clash-hk.com. It explains what data is involved when you visit the site and how it is used. This is a static content website: it does not offer account registration or ask for your email address. Data practices for client software and external services are outside the scope of this policy.
1. Data Collected During Site Visits
When you view a page, request a resource, or download a file, the servers and network infrastructure hosting the site receive information needed to fulfill the request. This may include your IP address, request time, page path, response status, and browser-provided device information. This data is used to deliver content, diagnose issues, and handle unusual requests.
Our pages do not ask you to upload subscription links, proxy passwords, node configurations, or runtime logs. Visiting this site is separate from running a client: reading our docs does not give us access to client configuration files, proxy connection data, or other files on your device. Do not include private subscription URLs in query parameters on this site.
2. Site Analytics and How We Use Them
We use site analytics to understand page views, traffic sources, commonly used device types, and which download platform links visitors choose. When you switch download platforms, we may record that selection as an interaction event. This helps us assess whether the links are easy to use, identify docs that need more detail, and investigate page issues.
Analytics data serves a different purpose from server request logs; page analytics should not be mistaken for records of a client connecting to the internet. We do not use analytics to collect subscription details or proxy traffic, or to build user profiles. The data collected and how long it is retained depend on the active deployment configuration. This policy does not promise that every request is unlogged or that records are deleted immediately.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
Static websites can still load analytics scripts. Whether an analytics service sets cookies, which identifiers it uses, and how long they last depend on the current configuration. Your browser may also cache fonts, stylesheets, and scripts. Caching, cookies, and local storage are separate mechanisms; clearing one does not necessarily clear the others.
Language links take you to another page, and your download platform choice can be restored from a URL fragment, so no account login is needed. You can view and clear this site's cookies, site data, and cache in your browser settings, or restrict scripts. Restricting scripts may affect platform switching, dynamic download links, and navigation. Clearing local data does not also delete records already held on servers.
4. Downloads and Third-Party Links
This site links to client homepages, app stores, and other external pages. When you follow a link, the destination may receive your IP address, browser information, and referrer information sent according to your browser settings. The destination handles this data under its own privacy policy. Before installing or running a client, review the privacy information provided by the project or app store.
Some download requests are redirected through links on this site, but file transfers may still involve upstream distribution services. A link on our site does not mean we control how an external service handles data. Before downloading, check the destination domain, software name, and system architecture. During installation, check the publisher and system permission prompts. Stop if you encounter unexpected redirects or permission requests.
5. Privacy Settings and Feedback
Use your browser's privacy controls to restrict cookies, limit referrer information, or clear site data. These settings apply only to that browser environment and cannot undo requests already sent to external services. On shared devices, consider clearing your download history and taking care with configuration files saved locally.
If you have trouble importing, connecting, or downloading, start with the Getting Started guide and its troubleshooting tips, then use the feedback channel provided by your client. Before sharing screenshots or logs, redact subscription URLs, passwords, tokens, and personally identifying information. Do not post private details publicly.
6. Policy Updates
We will revise this page and update the month shown at the top if our analytics methods, storage purposes, or links to external services change. We will clearly describe any significant new uses of data. Review this policy before changing your privacy settings or using a new download link. This policy does not replace the terms of third-party services.
